Welcome to Bangladesh University of Health Sciences (BUHS), a leading health sciences university dedicated to advancing the field of public health through education, research, and service. As the Dean of the Faculty of Public Health, I am honored to lead a team committed to excellence in both teaching and research.
At BUHS, Faculty of Public Health is pleased to offer 8 postgraduate programs (MPH) and 5 undergraduate programs, (BPH) each meticulously designed to equip the next generation of public health leaders with the knowledge, skills, and experience necessary to address the complex health challenges of current time by latest research and best practices in the field, ensuring that our graduates are well-prepared to make meaningful contributions to health systems both nationally and globally. ... This approach is complemented by our affiliation with the Bangladesh Diabetic Somiti (BADAS), a large health care network in Bangladesh, which operates 120 hospitals and healthcare centers. This partnership ensures us to integrate real-world challenges into our coursework and research, fostering an environment of innovation and applied knowledge where they can apply their learning and contribute to impactful health interventions. As a leading health sciences university, BUHS is committed to fostering innovation, promoting health equity, and enhancing the quality of healthcare delivery. Research is at the heart of our mission.
