Bangladesh University of Health Sciences (BUHS) solemnly observed the 56th Independence Day of Bangladesh on Thursday, March 26, 2026, through a respectful and heartfelt program held at the university campus.
The program commenced in the morning with the hoisting of the national flag, followed by a floral tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the independence of the country.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of:

- Prof. Rashid-E-Mahbub, Member, Board of Trustees, BUHS
- Professor Dr. J. M. A. Hannan, Vice-Chancellor, BUHS
They led the tribute by placing a floral wreath and paying deep respect to the heroic martyrs.







Faculty members, officials, staff, and students of BUHS gathered at the campus to participate in the program. The atmosphere reflected a deep sense of patriotism, remembrance, and gratitude towards the brave souls of the nation.
