BUHS offers two Session yearly. Spring Session: April-September and Fall Session: October- March.

The duration of all Undergraduate Programs is four years with eight (08) semesters (06 months in each semester)

The duration of all Postgraduate Programs is One and a half year (1 year 6 months) with three (03) semesters (06 months in each semester). However, for MPH in NCD and MPH in EHS Programs students have option take the courses (with thesis) for duration of two (02) years with four (04) semesters.

There are well-equipped individual laboratories like Microbiology, Immunology, Pathology, Histopathology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, and Physics in the University. Apart from these, BUHS has enriched Computer and Biomedical Engineering labs. Students are privileged with various practical sessions along with theoretical lessons to keep pace with advanced scientific learnings which make them well-fit for competitive jobs.

Yes, the university has required safety measures for emergency. Fire control facilities and CC Camera are available.

To change department, you need to apply to the Department from which you want to migrate, after taking permission, you will apply to the Department under which program you intend to study. This procedure must be performed by NOT more than 30 days from the beginning of classes. Students may migrate to chosen program subject to eligibility and availability of seats in the concerned programs.

At present, there is a female hostel outside the BUHS campus. Arrangement of a composite hostel for both male and female students is under consideration of the authorities.

Yes, the BUHS University organizes various cultural programs in different occasions, take part in various indoor and outdoor sports competitions. The University has a spacious playground where students get facilities to take part in outdoor games like Football and cricket. Inside the University building, there are enough space and instruments of indoor games.

On being eligible upon the assessments of academic papers of individuals, students are offered for admission into the particular programs on availability of seats

Admitted students may communicate with concern of the Admission Office to collect ID Card. ID Cards are usually issued before the commencement of classes. In case of admission in delay or after the commencement of classes, admit card may be issued within two weeks from the date of admission.

Foreign students after getting admission must deposit their original certificates and transcripts to the University for a period of at least one year. If they need these documents for any purpose for the time being, they may collect the same by depositing original passport. They may get back the passport by giving back the original academic documents.

We have no accommodation/hostel facilities for international students. However, we may cooperate with the foreign students currently studying at BUHS in this regard.

BUHS has a Social Forum which organizes different programs and competitions all the year round. By involving in these events, students may develop their potentialities.

Students submit the copies of the Passport, last visa pages, Arrival/departure seals, ID cards, payment clearance receipt and other relevant documents to the Department of International Relation to collect Recommendation Letter. They will apply to the Department of Immigration and passports for visa extension. After then, they will submit required documents to IR for police verification. University officers will provide documents to the concern agency for the verification. In some case, students have to perform all the works with self-liability.

BUHS are conducting selective undergraduate and postgraduate programs, all of which have very good demands in the private and public sectors of the country more especially in the health fields. Even in the international job markets our passing out students have special demands. Most of the graduated and post graduated students of BUHS are doing very good in their respective professions.

BUHS is the sponsored organization of Bangladesh Diabetic Somity (BADAS). which is the largest health care provider after the government. BADAS has country-wide hospitals and health care centers (including BIRDEM) where there are huge opportunities for job placements and internships for our students. Apart from this, BUHS has national and international collaborations with leading Universities/institutes and health organization in which our graduates are given priority in jobs.
