Global Contribution to subject knowledge As a public health researcher based in Bangladesh, I am actively involved in generating information that contributes to the global body of knowledge. My expertise has been recognized through invitations to speak at several prestigious international conferences. For instance, I was a keynote speaker and session moderator at the 16th world congress of the International Society of Burn Injury, and an invited speaker at the 45th annual congress of the American Burn Association. I also had the honor of being a speaker in a course organized by the British Burn Association on Improving Outcomes in Burn Care in LMICs Online Symposium in July and August 2020. At the 20th world congress of the International Society of Burn Injury, I served as a panel speaker, where I spoke about the critical importance of primary prevention in burn management.
I have collaborated with several faculties of prestigious universities in the UK, such as the University of Leeds, the University of York, and the University of Manchester, on various research projects. In addition, I have maintained long-term collaborations with Interplast Australia & New Zealand and the Australia & New Zealand Burns Association since 2008.
