Bangladesh University of Health Sciences (BUHS) celebrated World Radiography Day 2025 on 8 November with a vibrant and festive atmosphere on campus. The occasion marks the anniversary of the historic discovery of X-rays by Wilhelm Conrad Roentgen in 1895 and highlights the essential contribution of radiographers and diagnostic imaging to modern healthcare.
The day’s events at BUHS began with an early morning awareness rally, where students from the Department of Radiology, under the Faculty of Health Engineering and Technology, actively participated alongside faculty members. The rally aimed to increase public understanding of the significance of radiography, radiation safety, and the expanding role of imaging technologies in patient care.
